QuickSILvr was a project from the predecessor of ILIXR call SILvr for "Social Interaction Lab in VR".  In this project/lab we created many interconnected multiuser worlds to explore how human interaction might be encouraged and fostered in virtual mediated environments.
Some results

- Found ways to use gestures to automatically trigger animations with transition to third person view
- Research paper exploring the effectivenes
s of enhancing reality with animation ("Veracity")
- Explored the notion of what a live performance in VR might be like for both the performers and the audience
- Found ways to use the virtual environments to demonstrate and teach complex object interactions directly in a multiuser interaction room
- Provided space for students to build avatar systems and interactive environments
